High-Level Description
Building a solution for Nurse Navigators to manage and track the progression of clinical trials.
- Cancer Study description: A prospective, multicenter, observational cohort study of women undergoing screening mammography (digital or tomosynthesis) to train and validate the GRAIL Test for detection of invasive breast cancer.
Problem Statement: HCA & Sarah Cannon needed a Patient Engagement Management System so that nurse navigators could manage patient workflow. With nothing in the market to meet HCA's enterprise needs, the ask was to build a solution that could manage up to 120, 000 enrollees throughout the study.
My Roles & Contributions:
1) Researched current state, user personas and study coordinator pain points with previous studies
2) Proposed future state workflow
3) Created wireframes and mock-ups
4) Created dataflow diagrams
5) Drafted use cases & prioritized user stories
6) Created an MVP and Phase 2 Roadmap
7) Facilitated sprint planning, sprint executions, sprint retrospectives and daily stand-ups
8) Communicated progress throughout the product implementation to senior leadership
9) Created user guides for nurse navigators
10) Lead kick-off meetings with cross-functional teams
11) Launched a roadshow of product weeks before go-live
12) Managed go-live efforts through operational transition
