High-Level Description
Creating a centralized and automated workflow for coding reviews.
- Problem Statement: Customers submitted requests for medical record reviews from disparate intake systems. There were no standard data elements being captured between the intake systems and there was no easy way to track volumes HAQ requests coming in between the intake systems. The limitations within the intake systems resulted in high levels of manual, duplicative processes. There was also little to no leadership reporting and dashboards to help measure, visualize and track ad hoc intake data to make data-driven decisions.
The Objective: The goal was to build a solution that centralizes the intake process and manages the workflow (e.g. status updates and review progression, communication/notification opportunities, appeals/escalation paths, etc...) through the completion and finalization of the requested review. Leadership will also have the opportunity to gain insight into Ad Hoc reviews across the enterprise and will be able to make better informed decisions with the data and reporting that will be available to them.
My Roles & Contributions:
- Oversaw team development, product vision, execution, growth, and product culture for users & stakeholders impacted across the enterprise.
- Led planning efforts to influence user adoption and product growth
- Defined and drove the execution of the product strategy for the intake tool, ensuring a sustainable product-led business.
- Developed and coached an empowered product and design team, with a strong focus on living out our principles and values in the work we do.
- Shared expertise on modern forms of product planning, customer research and discovery, product discovery, and product development processes, to coach and guide the team effectively.
- Managed education efforts and continued product marketing with potential and existing users.
- Held responsibility for privacy and compliance.
